Joplin's Air Products and Chemicals Inc. has received national recognition for safety. The Joplin business is one of eight in Missouri to receive an award.
The companies were recognized for providing safe workplaces for employees, based on federal standards.
The Joplin business received its award after completing one year without any employee injuries.
