The Cliffstar Corporation in Joplin announced last week that it had bought Speaco Foods Inc. out of Kansas City.
Cliffstar plans to move the operation to the Joplin site, but it is not clear whether this will create more jobs for area residents.
The juice company produces more than 145 corporate brand-label fruit juices for grocery stores throughout the country.
