The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States is getting some help from a local writer.

Nancy Bestman, a writer from Jay, Okla., has introduced a new book to the area, titled, "Nana, Will You Write Me In Heaven?"

Bestman held book-signings May 19 at Freeman Hospital East and the Freeman Hospital in Neosho.

Sales of this book, plus two others Best-man has written, are going toward the construction of the new Ronald McDonald House of the Four States.

Copies of the books are being sold for $10 at Freeman and St. John's gift shops.
