A local motorcycle shop has received an award.

Harley Davidson presented Cycle Connection, on East Seventh Street in Joplin, with a Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle and a trip to Hollywood.

The award was part of Harley Davidson's 1997 incentive program.

Also as part of the award, Cycle Connection personnel will be able to spend four days in California to attend the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon.
