A local television station has been honored for its news coverage.
KOAM-TV was honored with four first-place awards and two certificates of merit at the fifth annual Missouri Broadcasters Association Awards dinner in June.
The awards were won in the categories of Best Newscast, Best News Series, Best Spot News and Editorials.
