Ernie Devore, of Devore's Western Wear, 2328 Main St., announced he would close his business as of Oct. 3.
The store opened in 1958, first mainly as a shoe repair business, and later selling saddles, leather goods and cowboy hats.
Devore will continue to operate his trucking business.
