The United Way organization has launched its 1998-99 campaign.
This year's goal is $760,000, and the theme is "The Power of U."
So far, more than $122,000 has been raised for the United Way through pacesetter companies.
More than 600 volunteers will now begin asking for donations throughout the community and health and human service agencies.
