The United Way organization has launched its 1998-99 campaign.

This year's goal is $760,000, and the theme is "The Power of U."

So far, more than $122,000 has been raised for the United Way through pacesetter companies.

More than 600 volunteers will now begin asking for donations throughout the community and health and human service agencies.

For more information about the campaign, call Suzanne Gilpin, 624-0153.
