St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, said goodbye to one president and welcomed another.
Gary Rowe has been named chief executive officer of the hospital.
He was formerly the CEO of St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kan.
Rowe takes the place of Robert G. Brueckner.
Brueckner resigned Sept. 15 after nearly five years of service.
Rowe received his master's degree in health-care management and business from George Washington University, Washington, D.C., and a bachelor's degree in business from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan.
He will assume the position Nov. 2.
