The Casa Grande Apartments and Townhouse complex, at 23rd Street and Texas Avenue, is scheduled for expansion this year.
Thirty-seven duplexes, townhouse apartments and one-bedroom apartments will be added to the existing complex, said owner Charles Bird.
The new construction will cost more than $2 million and, upon completion, will bring the complex to a total of 90 apartments.
Landis Construction Co. is the contractor on the project.
