Freeman Health Systems, of Joplin, has appointed Dian Doody, MD, and T. Michael Riggs to the hospital's board of directors.
Doody has been a pediatrician in the Joplin area for 16 years. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, Texas.
Riggs is the owner of Hook Up, the nation's second largest original equipment manufacturing company.
He received his master's degree in business administration from Harvard University.
