Rodney K. Bray was recently appointed as head postmaster. He succeeds Dennis Nave.
Bray has served several positions in the United States Postal Service, including manager of operations in Joplin, postmaster of Monett and postmaster of Webb City.
He began working for the Postal Service in 1976.
Bray has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Missouri Western State College-St. Joseph. He will oversee the service of 75,000 area residents, 60 city and rural routes and 140 employees.
