B&J Enterprises is looking for new tenants for the 6,500-square-foot State Farm Insurance building located south of Hollister on Missouri Highway 165.
Bruce Coleman, supervisor for the regional auto claims service center for State Farm Insurance, said the company's offices will be completely vacated by the end of November.
Coleman said the company had centralized its claims service at its headquarters in Columbia and found it didn't have the need for a large staff in the Branson-Hollister area.
Most of the staff moved to the claims office in Springfield. Coleman said, "It wasn't really a reduction (in staff). They are just operating out of a different office." He said two claims specialists will continue to work daily in the Branson-Hollister area.
"The closing (of the Hollister office) will not impact policyholder service whatsoever," Coleman said.
