Carthage is getting another new antique and gift shop in the community.
A ribbon cutting was held at The Wright Gift and Antique Place. The store, owned by Sally Wright and Brad Metcalf, is located at 2303 S. Garrison Ave.
It will offer a variety of antiques and collectibles, including items from Fenton and Lefton.
Also opening shop for antique and bargain hunters are Mike and Shea Tichenor, who recently held a grand opening for their store, Main Street Mercantile.
The store, located at 311 S. Main St., features an old-time, nostalgic atmosphere and carries a variety of antiques and collectibles.

A food truck that launched last year rebranded and moved to Metro Eats; automotive repair business Mitchem Tire Co. expanded its Christian County presence; and O’Reilly Build LLC was acquired.
