Carthage is getting another new antique and gift shop in the community.

A ribbon cutting was held at The Wright Gift and Antique Place. The store, owned by Sally Wright and Brad Metcalf, is located at 2303 S. Garrison Ave.

It will offer a variety of antiques and collectibles, including items from Fenton and Lefton.

Also opening shop for antique and bargain hunters are Mike and Shea Tichenor, who recently held a grand opening for their store, Main Street Mercantile.

The store, located at 311 S. Main St., features an old-time, nostalgic atmosphere and carries a variety of antiques and collectibles.
