Carthage residents now have another place to do their banking.
Hometown Bank opened June 8 at 312 W. Central St. Lonnie W. Heckmaster will run the locally owned and operated bank as president and chief executive officer.
Jeffrey A. Williams is executive vice president, and Randy D. Frost is cashier and vice president of operations. Linda J. Riley holds the position of executive secretary.
All four are local residents and have experience working in banks throughout the area.
Hometown Bank will offer a full line of banking services, including savings and checking, money market accounts, credit cards and certificates of deposits.
The bank will open its second branch at 1429 E. 32nd St. in Joplin later this summer.
