One of the largest providers of frozen food warehouse services in North America is buying a part of Carthage.
Carmar Group Inc. has officially been sold to AmeriCold Logistics Inc., based in Atlanta, Ga.
The sale marks the end of nearly 70 years of a multifamily-owned business, but the sale will allow the company to expand to 10 million cubic feet of space for its distribution program.
The sale was complete July 1.
