Nine Stone and Taney county business and professional women attended the first meeting Jan. 7 of a new women's networking group in the Branson area.
The networking group, sponsored by the Community Wellness Department of Skaggs Community Health Center, intends to meet monthly, rotating to area business and agency locations.
Karen Brungardt, community wellness coordinator with Skaggs Community Health Center, said she became interested in initiating the network after reading about a similar women's network in Springfield.
The next meeting is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Feb. 10 at Tri-Lakes TORC, located at Reeds Spring High School. For more information, contact the Skaggs Community Wellness Department at 335-7479.
