The Downtown Branson Betterment Association's annual membership meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 30 at a location to be announced.
The association also reported its 1998 officers have been elected. They are Bob Warlick, president; Patty Merchant, vice president; and Phyllis VanderNaald, secretary-treasurer. Two new board directors, Steve Hartley and Noel Porter, were also elected.

April 7 was the official opening day for Mexican-Italian fusion restaurant Show Me Chuy after a soft launch that started March 31; marketing agency AdZen debuted; and the Almighty Sando Shop opened a brick-and-mortar space.
