A total of 140 employees representing 47 businesses attended the first in a series of Branson hospitality training courses March 8, according to Phyllis Rotrock, director of Branson Hospitality Group Inc., the sponsor of the course. Those who complete the course, presented by Terri Tucker Dickensheet, of Tucker Resources, are certified as professional hospitality directors and receive "PHD" lapel

pins.

In support of the course, Mayor Lou Schaefer proclaimed 1998 "as the year Branson is the destination where 'Good Times and Good Services Go Hand in Hand."' The course will be repeated 1:30-5 p.m. April 8 at the Imax Remember When Theater in Branson.
