The 10,000-square-foot Whitney's World of Crafts opened in mid-March on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. The building sat vacant for several months, said Flynt Ray, who owns and manages the craft mall with his wife, Toni. Ray said he has leased booths to about 100 crafters.
He added that three-fourths of the crafters are local and the rest are from a half-dozen other states. Store hours are 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
