Cary Summers, president and CEO of Silver Dollar City Inc., and Mike Trout, of Colorado Springs, Colo., co-host and senior vice president for broadcasting of the national radio show "Focus on the Family," will leave Branson May 21 on a seven-day, 800-mile bicycle fund-raising trip.

The two aim to raise $90,000 to fund a leadership training program to be launched this summer by Kids Across America, part of the I'm Third Foundation. Since 1989, Kids Across America has hosted 20,000 urban youth from 25 states and 80 cities.

The two cyclists will leave Silver Dollar City's corporate headquarters in Branson and travel to Stone Mountain, the location of Silver Dollar City's newest recreation park project near Atlanta, Ga.

Summers and Trout also plan to use the trip to lay groundwork for next year's leadership training costs of $360,000. Mileage pledges can be made by contacting Silver Dollar City corporate headquarters at 336-7205.
