Fifth Avenue Hair Studio opened under owner/designer Brandi Stennett May 12.
The new, 2,300-square-foot salon is located on Fifth Street behind Steak 'n' Shake in Branson.
Stennett, a former instructor with the Missouri College of Cosmetology, in Springfield, said the full-service salon has six stations, a nail technician, a skin specialist and two tanning beds.
The salon will also offer 150 retail products for skin, hair and tanning.
According to Stennett, the salon will take both walk-ins and appointments, and it is open 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

A landmark 13-story flour mill, built in 1901 and out of operation since the 1970s, provides a highly visible guidepost to The Table, a restaurant being constructed at its foot near the intersection of Chestnut Expressway and National Avenue.
