Jan Denega, administrative assistant
for the Branson Fire Department, has been named Employee of the Month by the city.
Employed by the fire department since 1994, Denega also serves as treasurer for the volunteer firefighter association on which her husband Steve serves.
According to Fire Chief Carl Sparks, Denega was nominated based on "her ability to incorporate her warm personality into her work all with a cheerful voice and her willingness to assist the public."
