Ozark Mountain Bank of Branson reports that more than 400 customers turned out for burgers, soft drinks and prizes at the bank's customer appreciation cook-out.
The new president and chief executive officer of Ozark Mountain Bank is C. Craig Richards, who came in February, leaving as president of First National Bank of Audrain County in Mexico, Mo.
Richards succeeded Smith W. Brookhart III who served 24 of his 30 years with Ozark Mountain Bank as president and chief executive officer.
Brookhart now serves as chairman of the board. Brookhart came to the bank in 1967 when it was known as Peoples Bank and Trust Co. Since then, the bank, now under parent company Central Bancompany of Jefferson City, underwent two more name changes and grew in assets from $25 million to $189 million.
