The city of Branson reports a strong showing in construction values through the first five months of the year. New construction totaled $15.1 million from January through May, up $8 million over the same period last year.
And in other city news, the Branson Police Department has added an officer to patrol the west side of Branson, near the outlet malls, on a bicycle.
