Deborah Allison, RN, CNOR, of Kirbyville, was recognized May 11 by the local chapter of the Association of Operating Room Nurses. Allison received the Preoperative Nursing Excellence Award at a recognition dinner at Highland Springs Country Club in Springfield.
Allison, an employee of Skaggs Community Health Center in Branson since 1986, has more than 25 years of nursing experience in same-day surgery, skilled nursing, endoscopy, medical and surgical nursing.
The award was among a dozen presented by the AORN chapter in conjunction with National Nurses Week, May 6-12.
