The "Clean Water Cruise" aboard the Showboat Branson Belle will be 1-6 p.m. Nov. 5. Participants will learn about water quality, topography and other factors affecting the James River Watershed and Table Rock Lake.

Mike Kensler, former senior resource advocate for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, will speak on the water-quality success story of Chesapeake Bay. Sponsors of the seminar are Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, James River Basin Partnership, Showboat Branson Belle and Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

The cost is $20 per person, which includes dinner. Net proceeds will benefit James River Basin Partnership. For more information, call the Branson chamber at 334-4084 or the Springfield chamber at 862-5567.
