More than 600 people attended the
Skaggs Community Health Center's Kids Kare 1998, a free health and safety fair held Oct. 10.
Skaggs and Taney County Ambulance District handed out 300 free children's bicycle helmets at the event. Local health professionals provided free dental, vision and hearing screenings, and 16 local agencies and businesses participated with displays.
