The Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce named its annual award winners at its Black Tie Reception and Dinner Nov. 20. Branson Mayor Lou Schaefer received the Mary Award for his commitment to the Branson community. Dr. Ben Gaines received the Ambassador Award for bringing the Shriners Convention to Branson in September.
Chateau on the Lake Resort was honored with the Beautification Award, and the Community Spirit Award went to Steve Weyher, of the Golden Corral Restaurant, and to Dorothy and Shoji Tabuchi.
Two retired Branson leaders received awards: Ben Parnell was the recipient of the Pioneer Award, and M. Graham Clark was honored with Special Recognition.

A relocation to Nixa from Republic and a rebranding occurred for Aspen Elevated Health; Kuick Noodles LLC opened; and Phelps County Bank launched a new southwest Springfield branch.
