Mary Raymond of Pointe Royale Properties Inc. in Branson, has received the Professional Hospitality Director of the Year Award for customer service from Branson Hospitality Inc. The award was presented during the Golden Hands Award Ceremony Dec. 17 at the Ozarks Discovery IMAX Complex in Branson.
Ed Michel, president of Branson Hospitality, said Raymond was one of seven finalists for the award. The award caps a professional hospitality training program offered by Branson Hospitality.
Course I and Course II sessions were offered several times during the 1998 tourism season, and more than 500 people attended. The program is being expanded for 1999, Michel said.
