Myer Hotels of Branson, which includes the Best Western Knights Inn, Best Western Music Capital Inn, Comfort Inn and Rodeway Inn, has announced several staff promotions and additions to the company.
John Secora, previously general manager of the Comfort Inn, has been promoted to general manager of Best Western Knights Inn. Secora has been with Myer Hotels for more than 10 years.
Lori McCord Hart has been promoted to general manager of Comfort Inn after working for that motel for six years, including service as assistant manager.
Steve Graber has been promoted to general manager of Rodeway Inn. Graber, with 15 years of hotel experience, was previously the assistant manager of Best Western Knights Inn.
Richard Frender is the new general manager of Best Western Music Capital Inn, while Kurt Schmidt has been promoted to assistant manager at the same hotel.
Denise Bailey will begin working in the sales and marketing department of Myer Hotels, with responsibilities targeted to group sales, travel agents and receptive services.
Gail Myer, vice president of operations for Myer Hotels, has been appointed governor for Region 3-3 within Best Western International Inc. He serves as liaison for 30 Best Western properties in southwest Missouri. The corporate governors serve as consultants and communication links between the hoteliers in their district and the seven-member board of Best Western.

Fishing retail shop Modern Outdoor Tackle moved; Healthy Spot LLC opened; and Springfield law firm Strong, Garner & Bauer PC changed names and moved its office.
