Branson's Broadway-style production of "The Promise" is moving to the former Charley Pride Theatre in Branson from the Will Rogers Theatre where the show began 1996. Owned by The Promise Entertainment Group LLC, "The Promise" is scheduled to open April 2 with shows at 3 and 8 p.m.
The Promise Entertainment Group's Christmas holiday show, "Two From Galilee," will also return in the late fall at what will become The Promise Theatre. According to the company's marketing and public relations director, Geoff Steele, the new location, a 1,900-seat, state-of-the-art facility, will provide "an opportunity to take our production to even higher levels."
