Planners for Branson Fest '99 are anticipating the largest turnout yet at the event to be held March 24-28 at the Welk Resort Center near Branson. Outside tents will represent hospitality, entertainment, arts and culture and local business. New to this year's Branson Fest is a kids' tent featuring science and art activities, games, storytelling and entertainment.
Another addition to the event is a community-wide golf tournament sponsored by the Branson Golf Alliance.
The tournament will be held at different course locations, including Ledgestone, Top of the Rock, Pointe Royale, Thousand Hills and Holiday Hills.
Branson Jam concerts will be held daily at 2 p.m. in the Lawrence Welk Champagne Theatre.
