Cook new First Community president
David Cook has been named president of First Community Bank of Taney County by the bank's board of directors, according to Robert Lynn Hall, CEO of First Community Bank. Cook, was most recently the executive vice president and chief financial officer for the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. He also has banking experience with UMB Bank.
Hall also announced that First Community Bank will offer trust services to its customers.
David Eblen has been named senior trust officer and will assist with the new Scout Brokerage Service in addition to his lending responsibilities for the bank. Eblen attended the National Trust School at the University of Nebraska and has 19 years' experience as a trust officer.
Replacing David Cook at the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce is Shari Thomas. Thomas has been promoted to chief operating officer and vice president of community and economic development for the chamber.
Pock joins Family Medicine Clinic
Ryan C. Pock joined Dr. William Zeller at Branson Family Medicine Clinic as a physician assistant. Pock previously worked as an emergency room technician at Skaggs Community Health Center and as a student athletic trainer at Westminster College in Fulton, where he received a bachelor of arts degree. He received a masters of science in physician assistant studies from Finch University of Health Sciences in North Chicago, Ill.
Habitat board gains three members
Three new members have joined the Mountain Country Habitat for Humanity's board of directors. They are John Secora, general manager of Best Western Knights Inn in Branson
