A southeast Missouri filed suit against Tyson Foods over the company's planned closure of a plant in Dexter.
The Kesler family, who have raised and sold chickens to Tyson for decades, alleges in the suit that they were led to believe that business with the company would continue for years to come.
According to the lawsuit, the Tyson plant closure will leavy the Kesler family without a viable customer.
