The city of St. Louis is seeking a buyer for Gravois Avenue landmark Bevo Mill.
Currently operating as an offsite catering kitchen for L&M Catering and Gourmet FoodWorks, the city is asking $500,000 for the building, which includes a two-story apartment.
Although a buyer is preferred, St. Louis officials also will consider offers to lease, improve and operate the space as a restaurant for five years, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The building was constructed in 1917 by August A. Busch Sr. as a stopover between the Soulard brewery and his Grant’s Farm estate. InBev gave the mill to the city when it bought Anheuser-Busch in 2008.
