‘South Park’ creators raise $20M in funding for deepfake startup

Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of TV show "South Park," have raised $20 million in funding for their deepfake startup Deep Voodoo.

The funding round was led by Connect Ventures.

Deep Voodoo plans to use the funding to accelerate the "development of its leading deepfake technology, cost-effective visual effects services and original synthetic media projects."
