Lee Myung-bak, the former president of South Korea, was indicted Monday for corruption.
Lee, who served as president 2008-13, is charged with bribery, power abuse, embezzlement and tax evasion.
The charges come days after Lee's successor as president, Park Geun-hye, was jailed for 24 years over corruption.
