South Korea intends to make more than $576 billion in artificial intelligence investments in the next several years.
The initiative marks a partnership with Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, the world's largest memory chipmakers, according to Reuters.
“We must secure the core elements of AI faster than any other country,” South Korea President Lee Jae Myung said. “Semiconductors, physical AI and AI data centers are the triple axis for our great leap forward.”
