A jump in revenue from its PlayStation gaming business helped Sony's earnings reach $2.1 billion in its fiscal second quarter.
The company sold more than 86 million PlayStation 4 consoles through the quarter, when sales were 3.9 million.
Revenue for the comapny rose 6 percent to $19.6 billion.
