Sony bringing PlayStation games to smartphones

Sony announced today it would create a new company to make PlayStation games for smartphones.

The subsidiary, dubbed ForwardWorks, would develop games for iOS and Android devices.

According to Sony, the games would be "full-fledged" titles. It also plans to use existing PlayStation games and characters in new apps.
