Short-term rentals company Sonder announced plans to file for bankruptcy.
The announcement came a day after a licensing agreement with Marriott abruptly ended.
"The board of directors made the difficult decision to wind down operations and pursue a court-supervised liquidation of the U.S. business immediately," Sonder officials said in a statement.
