Soho House, which operates members-only clubs, is being taken private in a $2.7 billion deal.
MCR Hotels is leading an investment group to pay $9 a share for Soho House. Existing shareholders, including founder Nick Jones, intend to roll their holdings into the new privately held company.
Also part of the deal is actor and investor Ashton Kutcher, who gains a Soho House board seat through his investment.
