A job as a software developer could be particularly enticing in 2018, according to U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of the best jobs.
The job of software developer pushed health care out of the No. 1 spot. It’s the first time since 2015 a health care job did not place first.
However, health care jobs continued to dominate, making up 47 of the top 100 jobs on the U.S. News report. The job of dentist ranked No. 2 on the list, followed by physician assistant, nurse practitioner and orthodontist.
