SoftBank Group announced a new investment fund meant to boost the growth of artificial intelligence.
SoftBank pleged $38 billion for the fund, which also will include investments from Apple and Microsoft.
Softbank officials said Vision Fund 2 would "facilitate the continued acceleration of the AI revolution through investment in market-leading, tech-enabled growth companies."
