SoftBank reached a deal to sell the last of its majority stake telecoms assets.
The company is selling U.S. phone distributor Brightstar. The company is being purchased by a newly formed subsidiary of Brightstar Capital Partners, a private equity firm founded by the wireless distributor's former chief operating officer.
SoftBank is expected to acquire a 25% stake in the new subsidiary.
