SoftBank Group and OpenAI are launching a joint venture in Japan that focuses on artificial intelligence.
Called SB OpenAI Japan, the joint venture will be opened by OpenAI and a company formed by SoftBank and its domestic telecoms arm.
SoftBank is reportedly paying $3 billion per year to access OpenAI's technology.
