Japan's SoftBank Group Corp. added $14 billion to its market value after unveiling a record share buyback and a jump in quarterly earnings.
The company announced it would buy back up to $5.46 billion of its stock.
SoftBank also pointed to a 60 percent increase in its third-quarter operating profits.
