Japan's SoftBank Group Corp. announced Chief Operating Officer Marcelo Claure is leaving the company.
The exit comes over a fallout with founder and CEO Masayoshi Son over Claure's pay, people familiar with the matter told Reuters.
Claure earned a $17 million pay package in 2020.
