SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son has pledged to invest $100 billion in the United States during President-elect Donald Trump's next term.
Son made the announcement during a visit to Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence.
"My confidence level to the economy of the United States has tremendously increased with his victory," said Son, who also pledged to create 100,000 U.S. jobs. "President Trump is a double down president. I'm going to have to double down."
