Buff City Soap Supply LLC is making its Springfield market entry.
The soap and skin care retail chain is targeting a March opening at Brentwood Center North, according to a Facebook post late last month.
Curtis Jared, landlord of the Glenstone Avenue shopping center, previously told Springfield Business Journal that Buff City Soap is leasing more than 3,200 square feet previously occupied by Everything Kitchens LLC, which closed temporarily amid the pandemic but did not reopen. Buff City Soap officials have not responded to requests for comment.
Buff City Soap's storefront, 2750 S. Glenstone Ave., Ste. 2750, in the Brentwood Center is located between Honey Hive and a U.S. Navy recruiting office, according to a listing at JaredCommercial.com.
The listing shows Brentwood Center North is nearing full occupancy, with about 4,000 square feet remaining. The shopping center spans roughly 124,000 square feet, according to Greene County assessor records.
Buff City Soap makes plant-based soap products on a daily basis, according to the company's website.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
